It's the fear of the upcoming threat to their dominant power  in the world, which is caused by China's emerging economic power,  that resulted in all the prejudice from western media.

Remember USA was founded by Anglo-Saxon English colonists. They believe they are "master race" with a "God given" right to take over and dominate other countries and people-"manifest destiny". This is where Adolf Hitler got the idea for his Third Reich and German-Aryan "master race".

Some people ask Why Chinese bring up the history when talk about Tibet issue?

The answer is simple. Because Chinese people knows, same well as the Western politicians. The country can not be divided, divided China is nothing. Divided China can not defend itself. Any country can take any part of China as they want to. In the modern history, China has experienced the 8 Western countries invasion. China has experienced when Japan rape Najing for a month, none of the Western country gave a hand. Chinese has seen the same thing happen in Rwanda genocide in recent year. Check Western countries' own government record, none of the Western country want its own parts to declaim independent. As Chinese Confucian says 'If you do not want the others do to you, you do not do to the others.'

But one thing Western politician did not know is that fake news push Chinese people back to stand for their country.

I am in Melbourne Australia. Yesterday(sunday April 13th) there was a huge turn out of support of Beijing Olympic game, but i could not find any report in the local papare The Age. The paper instread report Tibetant separatist planning protect and an interview with its leaders.
I posting my support of the game on blog, it did not appear but also the blocked my from further posting. It was a very mild posting anyway.
