As a Tibetan, I'm deeply ashamed of what some of my fellowmen have done

Steve, you can tell him where he's wrong, but calling him arrogant and the like doesn't help this forum. If you think him "arrogant", at least tell him in a clam, non-offensive manner. We're all talking about how the media lacks constructive criticism, but the first step is to show it in ourselves, yes?

My message to Tibet writer here:I read your thought provoking writing very careful . I fully understand your desire to lead a life filled with peace. I completely agree with you that Tibet need to keep good relation with Han Chinese since Tibet and China are neighbors however you threaded you follow man  by using words like killing . that is horrible idea. As member of Tibet community  you should help each other ,stay united .You also accused Dalai as monkey .If you hate Dailai it is your business but as far as i know there are some Tibet both inside China and outside who do love Dalai .Did you ever think of
feeling of  these people? The word you used here monkey is really bad word . As member of Tibet community such word will probably create internal conflict within yourself . I know by saying that you may earn  favor from Han Chinese but any gain that obtained by creating internal conflict within your community won't be comfortable one . Of casue i don't mean you can't  blame Dai Lama  you are free to say but is there gentle way to criticize others without hurting other people ?
My message to Tibet friends here : I understand the T?bet writer .My  sympathize go with him . What is poor Tibet ! You may  accuse him as national trader like Wang Jing wei (汪精卫) 。I would like to remind these revolutionary Tibetans that as a individual  he do have right to choose a peaceful life . Let him live in peace .
My message to Han Chinese  friends here:
don't fool yourselves by believing that majority of  Tibet people like him   . Unless there are political system that allow people to express themselves
You can't understand the real situation of Tibet
Never give up hope

Sounds like one of the arrogant Americans, aint it true? Where did you get the sense of superiority from?
Where is the "sense of superiority" in asking that Tibetans be given the rights that they are entitled to according to the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights ?

As for Tibet, it will happen the second day after Native Americans get their land back and drive Europeans back to Europe; it will happen the second day after Native Australians get their land back and drive Europeans into the Pacific; it will happen the second day after Hawaiians get their kingdom back and drive Americans back to where they should be.
This has been discussed in some detail in other threads like the Al Jazeera one. I did not suggest that Tibetans should drive out anyone. I suggsted that they should have the same political rights as Native Americans have in America, as Aboriginees do in Australia, and Hawaiians have in Hawaii: namely the right to form political parties and openly express their political views.

For detailed information I can only point you to online resources like wikipedia. What I had in mind was the fact that they have the basic political rights called for in the UN's Universal Declaration of Human Rights, namely the right to vote, form political parties, work peacefully for political change, freely express peaceful political opinions, etc.

Supply a URL, please.
In case your thread is about 19th century genocide and abuse of native Americans, please bear in mind that this has aleady been discussed, eg in the Al-Jazeera thread. Historical abuses, either in the USA or in China (Great Leap Forward, Cultural Revolution, etc) are beside the point. The point is how countries should treat their citizens now.
