it is incredible to see chinese citizens, whose brains havebeen only crammed with the chinese government propaganda, give lessons to "westerners" (i.e anybody that is not chinese) about the bias of their information. Oh yeah, we're sorry that we do not only base our judgement on the statements from an autocratic communist party.
You say so many absurd thing it's impossible to answer them all.
Just a few facts.
"old tibet" as you call the tibet before the chinese invasion, was certainly not governed by sadism and serfdom as it has been the case under the chinese tyranny (this is not my word, this is the word of tibetans who lived there in the 70s).
The "old tibet" was not a democracy, that is true, but is the chinese government democratic?
It was an old society, retarded, with feudal funcitonment, that we well know ; but it showed respect for its citizens . They were not tyrans . They had the freedom to live their faith as they wanted ; children were not condamned to kill their own parents ('for the readers who are slow to understand, that happened under the chinese domination) ;
and when the chinese came, what did they do to "free" the country, they burnt all the books in the temples, they destroyed the temples, killed themonks, ... i ave some pretty films that show very well how nice the chinese soldiers were; and it was only the beginning .
Years , decades of slavery and repression and despair and colonisation until today...
and yes it can in NO WAY be compared to the situation of Corsica (for the few dumb people who said that previously in thei discussion)


and yes it was not a democracy, but it was, i personally think, perhaps the most equal kingdom that has ever existed : did you knwo that the dalai lama was chosen "randomly" among children across tibet  by monks who tried to find the reincarnation of the former dalai lama ? and the last dalai lama, was in fact the children of a very poor family  - so of course he would have wanted to establish serfdom in his country, just for his parents to benefit it..

One last thing. The dalai lama has always opposed violence, since the beginning. He has always said that if the tibetans became violent, he would resign his title. He said it again when the last riots occurred -that lasted only a few days.

Oh, just one thing (but there are so many things to be said..) - as soon as the 70s the tibetans already said that no one should believe the chinese, that they only told lies..
well i must recognise that the Chinese since 1949 have mastered lies as no other dictatorship in the world has ever done..

Let's just hope that the Chinese people will stand up to gain their rights and their freedom , and not let themselves be brainwashed as this site sadly tends to prove...
