Nothing that has been said here disproves the idea that PAP (NOT army, so the uniform photos are meaningless) may have been involved in mischief.  Yes, some Westerners know all about the "People's Armed Police", also know as the FEARED Wujing. It is these paramilitary thugs who have been brought in to pacify the people of Lhasa.  And no, those are clearly not jackets because it is cold, but monks robes.  Its amazing that you think people will believe the type of disinformation you are putting out.  Yes, westerners have plenty of information, and they are just a tad smarter than you think they are, and they have not had their critical faculties stilted by years of propaganda....
