I have a British colleague, whose son works for a publishing house; he told me, in western countries, bad news about China has big market than good news. People in Europe don't want to hear good things about China. In order to make money, western media focus on bad things in China, and even creat fake stories to catch attention.

Wow, this is a very inspiring story!

Personally I know this boy, he's from Singapore's top secondary school - Hwa Chong Institution.

I think it has more to do with the fact that bad news sells better than good news full stop.  I doubt that the news involving China has much to do with it other than that China has a spotlight on it as of late.  Once things die down then we'll get back to reading news about disasters and wars and celebrities making fools of themselves, interspersed with the occasional heart-warming tale of a bunny caring for kittens (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/north_east/7101506.stm ).  Now there's a good unrest-erasing picture right there!

People like BBC's James Reynolds etc. are not journalists. They are attack dogs paid to smear China using lies and innuendoes.

Surely if James Reynolds had reported in Tel Aviv about Jews killing Palestinian women and children, do you think he will still be employed?

No! He will be dead (shot by Israeli soldiers) or he and his BBC's boss will be fired. So why is China and Chinese continue to allow people who hate them work in China? Isn't it stupid to allow your attackers who hate you make money in your house?

You get rid of Human Garbage like James Reyonlds by kicking them out! Let James Reynolds work in Britain and his London!

But it is so easy, to claim something, without knowing the facts!

Why do you always see the bad news? Believe me in our media are not only bad news about china. Far from it! When I watch TV I mostly see how fantastic chinese culture and history is. Many people in germany like china very much but the truth is that many are also afraid. They are afraid why they don`t understand the chinese and I think just as well the chinese are angry and afraid of the western people because they don`t understand them too. It is normal and many say it is important to criticise. So don`t be angry if you get criticised and believe me the germans are world champions in self-criticism!

Say "de_ guo_ ren" so what if  BBC's James Reynold  writes this  snippert (that is if he really wrote it) about an Israeli bloody atrocities? Afterall this is 2008 today and not 2002. Who is to really know if BBC's James Reynold wrote this article or validate if such an article really exist at all?

Afterall you "de-guo-ren" now may be "honest Abe". But with so many liars and scumbags amongst the anti-China crowd today,stooping to pulling rabbit out of the air wouldn't be beneath them.

Moreover , what is one negative article about Israel compared to the endless deluge of puke attacking China and Chinese being sold by the western media as "news"?   

To prove my point, how many story have you seen today from BBC etc  on torture, bloodlest, killing and suffering in Afghanistan and Iraq? Have you seen today any story or op-ed page  from the ever vigillant "compassionate" BBC, CNN or Times about diseases, starvations, deaths, nightmare and griefs amongst Iraqi mothers or of dying cancer striken Iraqi children and babies with no hospitals to go to...hmmmmm?  

Hell, if one has just arrived from Mars, he'll think Iraq, Guantanamo, Kabul, West Bank Gaza is paradise or do not exists while China on the other hand is doing all the killing, polluting and cheating in the world.

So please de-guo-ren, there is no need fopr you to sell us James Reynold. That is unless one is an ignorant moron to not know Mr. Reynolds and his BBC's bunch are racists pigs. The fact is they are hypocrites -- pathological liars who hide behind their purportedly "free press" to stir up troubles and sell hate!

I only remember three thing:

1) Jack Cafferty
2) James Reynold
3) faked pictures

to 1) a personal opinion of a man, he apologized

to 2) Jeff Reynolds said, that the Chinese media did not publish the incident in London on time.

Why was this not published on time by the Chinese Media?

a) low technology standard in China? No, China has a reliable telephone network

b) organisation? More likely, because no one takes self-responsibility, so news have to go up and down the hierarchy

c) politcal? Also likely

to 3) faked pictures
these were revised two or three days later.

So where are these endless negative news about China.

I made a research of the last year media about China: 1 negative vs. 10 positive in the weekly magazine in Germany

And you also hear about Iraq, Guantanamo, Kabul, West Bank Gaza, more than enough.
