To convey the viewpoint of their news better, Channel N-24 in Germany posted a fake pic again. And this time round, they found out something new. What they used was taken years ago.

On Augest 21, N24 posted the news
Propagandaschlacht-China beginnt in Tibet mit Umerziehung (China's propaganda strategy in Tibet) with a photo of policemen and
Tibetan monks. However, this photo is suspected to be taken a long time ago, before 2000.
Analyse:
1) The one at front and the one on left were wearing the uniform of Police. The epaulets showed that both of them were superintendent; and according to the collar badge, the one at right-hand side was an armed police. The three sets of uniforms were all the
old version, which was
designed in 1993 and had been abandoned in1999.

China Police Ranking System -- '95-'99 version

The epaulet of a second
lieutenant of armed police.
2) The background of the photo seemed to be a Tibetan Buddism temple named Yonghe Palace in Beijing. Not in Tibet.
3) There are some obvious lapses in cropping. With a larger pic, look at the lips of the monk at left, the
strange white edge of the middle monk's neck, the fuzzy edge between the head of the left monk and the police....

Response:
pidan29: The light shone upon the police at middle is strange....
llyy: It is obvious that the light source of the monks is different from the one that shines upon the polices.
先生皇: The uniform is the '93 version, but the two are not wearing their collar badges. This is prohibited. And this '93 version with cyan in color is abandoned in 1999 and they changed the uniform into the navy-blue color one.
月色千岛湖: The picture is obviously contradictory to the laws of perspective. It is most likely to be Photoshoped.
