I think the saddest things is, Hong Kong people have little pride, or dare I say Chineseness.
HSBC's HK provides the worst f*cking customer service in town! Yet these stupid idiots would willingly queue up to one hour to draw out a cheque!
If these dirt cheap treatments was handed out to their British or European customers, this bastard bank would be burnt down!

Add:

Alternative safe HK banks to park your family’s cash.
Public Bank (Malaysian Chinese owners), very high deposit rates, and they don’t rip you off!
Dah Sing Bank (Singapore?)
BOCHK (downside, queues too long!)
These banks will not be ‘runners’, so you can sleep soundly.

rule Britannia banks
Hang Seng Bank, owned by HSBC, by British tax payers
Standard Charter – another colonial bank

As we are not strong enough, we have to accept something for energy simulating. And i beleive the potenial of Chinese development not only on economy, but other aspects which are now excused by western media or government to dimonise China. So we wait, we work hard and we smile for that day coming!

You should learn - this bank operates in nearly every country in the world, not just Britain, Hong Kong or China - but worldwide.

This is a very silly comment.

Do you think they treat us like Kings? You must be joking - this is a bank, they treat everyone like dirt!

Trust me I know, I had an account at HSBC, but due to a couple of mistakes, they closed my account because I went £10 overdrawn... I couldn't believe they were so petty.

You should really experience Banks over here before commenting like everything is great - its not - the banks are the reason we have such problems right now!

Oh and I should add.

You guys can avoid our Banks, thats your choice... But remember, this bank had nothing to do with your problems, and it will just look like an attack on the British people.

What then? You want a good sucessful Olympic Games right? So is it worth annoying all of the western world? What if they start banning Chinese products?

This is the wrong way to do things. Remember - plenty of Chinese people are Shareholders of this bank - and they will lose money too.

Yep! STUPID CHINESE to keep inviting people who hates them to eat from their table and get rich off their blood, sweat and tears.

Look HSBC is not the only thief geting rich in China while bankrolling people who hate and depise Chinese. There is a whole gamut of these ungrateful thiefs who are today reaping obscene profits in China. Yet have anybody heard them saying something good or positive about China? Have anybody seen them coming to defend China defense or punish and refute those  who attack China?

On the contrary. They infact pay liars like "American Propoganda" AP, AFP, CNN, BBC etc. to extort, threaten and intimidate China. Fact is it is so bad that CNN's defense for Jackass Caffety's racists slur  - "it is not against Chinese, but rather against China Govt."!

If that be the case why is the Chinese Govt. allowing CNN to operate in China? Isn't China stupid?  So, if anyone is to be blame for allowing Chinese be bullied and China demoninze, it is Chinese themsleves. Chinese are stupid; STUPID becasue they keep allowing their attackers to grow bolder, more hostile and more belligerant!
