What about Guilin? It sparks Samtom's curiosity

I have heard some very nice things about Guilin, but haven't seen very many pictures. China, help Samtom learn more about this place. Consider it educating a Westerner  in the effort to understand you better.

Guilin is ok but Yangshuo is better in my opinion. Thats a Westerners viewpoint. Great noodles in guilin though.

Wow these pictures are really nice! Samtom's eyes are memorized by Guilin's bright beauty!

RichardBingham Posted at 3-5-2008 10:45

Unfortunately  the reality is different.

The pictures fail to show the 500 huge tourist ships blasting out commentary from massive sound systems that plough up and down the river each day. Guilin has been totally spoilt by tourism.

yeah, there always damages as long as there are people. So should tourism be banned or should we improve the local management?

samtom Posted at 3-5-2008 13:55

wow,samtom,I'm here to support you!!:L
I know guilin is a very beautiful place, but I never been there. So I don't have  pics about guilin except some on internet.Damages,I mean, some pollution. There always are some pollution in intensive populated spots.Right?

Hi,see the guilin photos from here :http://www.anti-cnn.com/forum/cn/thread-6557-1-1.html
It is not propaganda, it is real.

samtom Posted at 4-5-2008 11:35

"filookm" You have a good point. "There always are some pollution in intensive populated spots.Right?" Now Samtom feels better. I don't have issues with people bringing arguments to the table, but it is important to have logical reasoning. With that said, it does make a lot more sense. So I agree with what you say

And Phoenix77 is so mean by indenifying Samtom's weakness. Sausage, veggies, beans, other things I can not identify....and oodles of noodles!^.^ I can humbly say, if lightning hit me at this moment, Samtom could go to heaven in peace.
