Cewang Rigzin also clamored for a worldwide boycott of the Beijing
Olympic Games.
The remarks of the TYC head have drawn strong criticism from many
Italians and overseas Chinese in Italy.
It's "absurd and wrong" to use suicide attacks to solve "the Tibet
issue," said Paullo Salom, the Corriere della Sera journalist in charge
of reports on China and East Asia.
The remarks of Cewang Rigzin revealed the "vicious intention" of the
Dalai Lama and his followers to split China by carrying out violent
attacks "under the cover of non-violence," said Liao Zonglin, chairman
of the Federation of Overseas Chinese Associations in Rome.
It's an "extremely horrible" act of terrorism to seek "Tibet
independence" through violence, which is bound to be condemned by the
peace-loving people, said Vittorio Mancini, chairman of the Italy-China
Friendship Association.
It's a mistake to politicize the Olympic Games, he added.
The TYC, a hardline organization affiliated to the Dalai Lama
supporters, was established in 1970 in India, upon the order of the
Dalai Lama.
Shortly after its establishment, some TYC members declared that they
would "use violence forever" to seek "Tibet independence."

However, XinHua never stated this. The tactic of this article is to prove the propaganda of Chinese media by stuffing words into their mouths in things that they never stated. It's a common tactic in the case of news such as Epoch Times and recently even BBC. Think about what you read. I doubt any TI movement would openly say that, which is political suicide. However, another tactic is shown through careful analysis. To actually believe this at face value would merely concrete the idea that Chinese are really brainwashed, since the message of the article is ridiculous to believe. However, the real tactic of the article is to attack the Chinese media. This is fine by me, but the immorality stems from planting evidence that doesn't exist. In this case it would be stuffing words into the mouth of the Chinese media of things they never even mentioned. Xinhua always declared itself to be the propaganda of CCP. Never the less, its coverage is very careful, especially when concerning international issue. Not like your western media, they always claim themselves to be "free, objective, and impartial", but they fake news and tell lies publicly.
I don't know who are brainwashed, but I only see in this event, that many westerners still believe their main stream media even in front of the irrefutable evidence that those media are telling lies and faking news.
