Dalai Lama didn't bring religion freedom in his former and current government, how would we trust he would bring freedom to real Tibetan if he govern Tibet in future?

I found the discussion on PBS very interesting.BTW: did you know that the Nationalist Chinese, did have a govenor stationed in Lhasa between '45 and '49. I have seen photos of this, (natl geographic?) I wonder if anyone here has copies they can post?
