都是金融危机惹的祸——英女王要穿旧衣服出访两国

这是在BBC的Magazin Monitor的blog上面看到的,内容可谓五花八门,有些搞笑。比如:英女王要穿旧衣服访问斯洛文尼亚和斯洛伐克;英国伦敦伟哥销量增长400%;旅行社的旅游指南要收钱;墓碑都穷到要用木头做的等等。

内容包含社会各方各面,大家如果有兴趣,随我慢慢翻译。

看了一下新闻原文,里面有这么一段:

“And in these hard times you find that when a woman can’t afford a dress in the luxury echelons, she may opt instead to part with £20 on underwear that makes her feel good.”

“在这个艰难的时刻,你会发现,当女人们没有能力买得起华丽的裙子的时候,她们也许会选择买一条20欧元的内裤以让自己好受一些。”

我猜大概意思是,“买不起名牌裙子,那就买件名牌内衣”。引申一下,一些名牌小件商品将会火起来。

其实这个想法我很早就有,就是把女人一些压箱底的衣服清洁、修整一下做一个二手服饰公司。(经济条件好的时候,经济发达地区的女人衣柜都是要暴的程度,穿几次就再也不穿了。)
